I’ve worked with companies big and small including Starbucks, Monotype, and Virgin Mobile. My work has been featured in several books and magazines and I’ve presented at The New York Times, NASA, Condé Nast, TypeCon, and TYPO Berlin.
In 2012, I directed the feature-length documentary Linotype: The Film. Additionally, I have worked at an advertising agency and taught design & typography at the university level.
I received a BFA in Graphic Design in 2005 and spent a summer as a letterpress artist-in-residence in Geneva, Switzerland. I have also spent time overseas as an international development volunteer.
I take my work seriously, but myself, not so much.
Originally from Missouri, I now live in beautiful Denver, Colorado with my wife, two baby boys, and an ever-expanding collection of books and bicycles.
