In 2012, I directed the feature-length documentary Linotype: The Film. Before that, I taught design & typography at a university and worked at an ad agency. Currently, I am freelancing on various design, typography, and film projects.
I’ve worked with companies big and small including Starbucks, Monotype, and Virgin Mobile. My work has been featured in several books and magazines and I’ve presented at The New York Times, NASA, Condé Nast, TypeCon, and TYPO Berlin.
I received a BFA in Graphic Design from Missouri State University in 2005 and spent a summer as a letterpress artist in residence in Geneva, Switzerland.
I currently live in Springfield, Missouri with my wife, baby boy, and an ever-expanding collection of books and bicycles.
